Την ερχόμενη εβδομάδα ο Bruce Wayne (Ben Affleck) και ο Clark Kent (Henry Cavill) του «Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice» θα εμφανιστούν στο Comic-Con του San Diego, ήδη όμως πρωταγωνιστούν στο εξώφυλλο του Entertainment Weekly αυτής της εβδομάδας.

Thank You, Donald Trump!

Dear Donald,

You’ve said some pretty offensive things about Latino immigrants recently, and I think they’re worth addressing. Because, you know, this is the United States of America, where I have a right to speak up even if I’m not a billionaire. Isn’t that awesome?

Anyway, I heard what you said about the kind of people you think Latino immigrants are — people with problems, who bring drugs, crime and rape to America. While your comments are incredibly ignorant and racist, I don’t want to spend my time chastising you. I’ll leave that to your business partners like Univision and NBC, who have the power to scold you where it hurts. Instead, I’m writing to say thank you!

You see, what you just did with your straight talk was send more Latino voters to the polls than several registration rallies combined! Thank you for that. Here we are pounding the pavement to get American Latinos to the polls, while your tactic proves most effective. Remarks like yours will serve brilliantly to energize Latino voters and increase turnout on election day against you and any other candidate who runs on a platform of hateful rhetoric.

Scott Disick, what the hell is going on here?

Earlier this week, Kourtney Kardashian reportedly threw Scott Disick out of the family home. Was he upset about this? Well, it doesn’t look like it…

The 31-year-old Keeping Up With The Kardashians star flew to Monaco, and this morning, photos have emerged of Scott Disick getting cosy with another woman in Monaco.

It’s alleged that the woman is Scott Disick’s ex-girlfriend, Chloe Bartoli.

The pair were spotted on Monte Carlo beach with a group of friends. In some pictures he had his arm around her, in another she was feeding him food, and they lay on the same sun lounger together. It doesn’t look good, and we reckon Scott might feel the wrath of the Kardashian Klan today.

Scott’s girlfriend of eight years, and the mother of his three children, is yet to make a comment. Interestingly, the last photo Kourtney Kardashian posted on Instagram was one of herself at a gun range.

She shared a picture of herself at a gun range with her sister Khloe, and she captioned the snap: “Don’t mess.”

Democratic ex-Va. Sen. Jim Webb announces presidential bid

Washington (CNN)Former Virginia Sen. Jim Webb announced Thursday that “after many months of thought, deliberation and discussion” he has decided to run for president of the United States.

In an over 2,000-word blog post, Webb writes that he decided to run because the United States needs “proven, experienced leadership that can be trusted to move us forward from a new President’s first days in office.”

Highlighting his experience as a senator, decorated soldier and and secretary of the navy under Ronald Reagan, Webb cast himself as someone willing to fight on issues he cares about, including criminal justice reform, education and economic fairness.

Webb becomes the fifth Democrat to join the primary contest. Hillary Clinton, the former secretary of state and first lady, is the race’s frontrunner, with every poll showing her up by wide margins. Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders is experiencing a recent jump in the polls and in excitement, while former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley and former Rhode Island Gov. Lincoln Chafee have stagnated since announcing they would run.

Mexican TV Anchor Jacobo Zabludovsky Dies at 87

Jacobo Zabludovsky, a journalist who for decades was seen as a symbol of the tight links between Mexico’s government and press, died Thursday at age 87.

Zabludovsky anchored Mexico’s most-viewed evening news program for almost three decades, until 1998, covering the nation’s tragedies but also reflecting a solidly pro-government political line while working for the dominant Televisa network.

It all made him the face of the news, but also the face of a system that many considered repressive, though he later adopted a more independent stance in his second career as host of a radio news program.

“He was a journalist of many facets, of many moments in his career,” said Mireya Marquez of the Press and Democracy program at the Ibero-American University in Mexico City. “Jacobo became the face of a system of complicit relationships, the journalist of the official version that rendered the opposition invisible.”

The news manager for Zabludovsky’s radio program on Grupo Radio Centro, Arturo Corona, confirmed the death. Televisa said in a tweet that he died of a stroke.

President Enrique Pena Nieto, who returned the long-ruling Institutional Revolutionary Party, or PRI, to power in the 2012 elections, wrote in a tweet: “I regret the death of the lawyer, chronicler and journalist, Jacobo Zabludovsky.”
The rail-thin, energetic anchor spent some seven decades in broadcast and print journalism, interviewing figures such as Fidel Castro and Che Guevara in his youth.

He was perhaps best known for his coverage of the 1985 earthquake that killed 9,500 people in the capital. Equipped with an early version of a mobile phone, Zabludovsky gave viewers a tour of the stunning damage in Mexico City’s center.

But he was widely reviled, along with most of the rest of the country’s press, for playing down the 1968 army massacre of students in Mexico City’s Tlatelolco square.

One of the darkest chapters of his professional history came in the 1988 presidential election, which pitted leftist upstart Cuauhtemoc Cardenas against Carlos Salinas of the PRI. Salinas eked out a narrow victory many claimed was the result of fraud.

Zabludovsky’s program, “24 Horas,” gave Salinas 141 minutes of total coverage over a 2½-month period, while it gave Cardenas about nine minutes.

In interviews in later years, Zabludovsky acknowledged the government had pressured journalists earlier in his career.

He revived his reputation among many with a brisk, folksy daily radio news broadcast in which he gave significant space to anti-government figures and as a campaigner for cleaning up the historic center of Mexico City where he was born.

NBA Free Agency: Nik Stauskas Is A Sixer, And Other Dreams Come True

The July 1st start of NBA Free Agency had been far from normal. It would take me a month to type out all the moves, so I’ll sum it up with this handy link and one “SINGLER!” yelp and be done with it. But our Sixers — as Zach Lowe reminded us near the end of the day — were absent from all public conversations, save for a cancelled Jimmy Butler meeting and a Rockets contingency plan.

So I hopped on Twitter, weirdly went to bat for a theoretical Deron Williams trade (might’ve made some sense!), and then headed off to a work dinner where I couldn’t check my phone. If I had, the hundreds of tweets and LB staff emails would’ve clued me in:

Sam Hinkie is not dead. Nik Stauskas is a Sixer. And Jason Thompson arrived three years late for a Doug Collins party.

HOLY HELL. There’s a lot to unpack here… is a thing smart NBA people say when a complex trade happens. This is not a complex trade. This is a pillaging. Not a lot to unpack at all — just one suitcase containing a gold statue of Vivek Ranadive punching himself in the dick until 2018 at the earliest.
One of Hinkie’s most consistent refrains is regarding expectations. If something you expect to happen happens, it shouldn’t change your evaluation of a player. That confusing sentence structure is best explained through Tony Wroten. He got drafted by a Memphis team that didn’t have the minutes for a raw talent like his, and he barely played. Hinkie got him for nothing, and has turned him into an NBA player slash shammgodder of ankles in Philly. Similar scenario with Jrue Holiday playing off the ball his only season at UCLA.

The Kings drafted Stauskas a year ago into a toxic situation, played him behind a 2-guard they took in the lottery the year before in Ben McLemore, ran through three coaches, and told him how much they wanted to trade him pretty much the entire time. If you liked Stauskas coming into the draft — as I did — and think the Kings were an absolute shit show — as I did — Nik’s 2014-15 NBA season should not heavily influence your opinion of him.

Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp

Trivia
Bradley Cooper reprising his role as Ben, shot all his scenes in one day. Initially, Cooper wasn’t able to fly to the set in Los Angeles, due to commitments with a Broadway play. The filmmakers then opted to shoot his scenes in New York until Cooper was nominated at the 87th Annual Academy Awards, prompting his trip to Los Angeles. The plan was revamped to shoot Cooper’s scenes in a single day, which was the last day of the show’s production on February 26, 2015.
